This page includes everything you need to know about how to commission a piece from me — from how to place an order to pricing, deposits, and payment details.

Deposit & Payment Guide
To secure a commission slot, a deposit is required — this amount will be deducted from the final price, which will be confirmed once your request has been accepted. Please note that your slot is not guaranteed until the deposit has been received.

If you're ordering from outside the UK, please be aware that an additional postal fee may apply. International shipping typically ranges between £10–£20, depending on your location and the size of the artwork.

Requesting a Commision
Submit Your Request - Step 1
Please fill out the commission form with the details of your request, including preferred size, subject matter, and any reference photos.
Be sure to upload clear, high-quality reference images, as this helps me create the most accurate and detailed artwork possible.
Confirmation & Quote - Step 2
I’ll review your request and contact you via the email submitted on the form. I will confirm if you have a preferred reference photo (If you submit multiple). I will confirm any special requests and if everything sounds good to you, I’ll go ahead and confirm the deposit and overall price with yourself.
Secure Your Slot - Step 3
Deposit is required to ensure your slot in my schedule and is required for the artwork piece to be started. The deposit amount will be clearly stated in your quote and is deducted from the final total. Please note that I cannot begin work or hold your slot until the deposit has been received.
Creation Process - Step 4
Once your deposit is received, your commission will be officially booked into my schedule. I’ll provide you with an estimated start and completion date — though please understand that unexpected delays can happen, as life isn’t always predictable. When I begin your artwork, I’ll send progress updates along the way and check in to ensure you’re happy with how it’s coming together.
Final Payment - Step 5
Once your artwork is complete, I’ll send you a final preview so you can confirm that you're happy with the finished piece. At this stage, the remaining balance will be due.

Delivery - Step 6
Once payment is received, your artwork will be carefully securely packaged and dispatched -to ensure your artwork arrives safely, all pieces will be carefully rolled and posted in a sturdy postal tube. I’ve found this to be the most secure method for protecting your portrait during delivery, preventing creases, bends, or damage
